In November of 2023 Stina, our former Global Networking Coordinator and current representative at Religion for Peace, attended the 5th European Policy Dialogue Forum in Rotterdam. The forum was organized by the International Dialogue Centre – KAICIID in Cooperation with European Council of Religions Leaders, among others. Stina was there as part of the IYC (International Youth Council – Religion for Peace) and she represented the WSCF-E as well.
The theme of the forum was ”Young People and Social Inclusion in Urban Societies.” Stina was one one of the key note speakers. In her speech she spoke about the importance of existential sustainability and inclusion of youth in decision making bodies in order to create safer societies. She spoke from her experience as a priest in an area with high rates of criminality and social exclusion.
In the forum she met a number of young people engaged in faith, interreligous dialogue and other organisations. They shared experience, ideas and knowledge.
