Join Our Online Focus Group: Exploring Mental Health and Education among Christian Youth

April, 16 2024 @ 17 CET

In an increasingly fast-paced and demanding world, the intersection of mental health and education has become a critical concern, particularly among young people.

Recognizing the unique challenges faced by Christian youth, we are excited to announce an upcoming online focus group aimed at creating a safe and supportive space for dialogue and reflection.

The primary goal of this focus group is twofold: firstly, to provide a platform for young people to openly share their experiences related to mental health and education within a Christian context. Secondly, to delve into how educational systems impact mental well-being and how mental health, in turn, affects the fundamental right to education.

Our focus group will be led by an experienced facilitator with backgrounds in mental health advocacy and human rights education and by WSCF Europe members. They will ensure that the discussion remains respectful, inclusive, and productive.

Why Participate?

  • Safe Space: This is an opportunity to engage in open and honest dialogue in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Voice and Impact: Your insights and experiences can contribute to a better understanding of the challenges faced by Christian youth in the realm of mental health and education.
  • Community Building: Connect with like-minded peers who share similar concerns and aspirations for promoting mental well-being.

The work plan focuses on mental health as a human right and its overarching aim is to contribute to empowering young people from different European backgrounds to participate in pluralistic democracy, to promote human rights, and to build inclusive societies for all.

This project is designed, implemented and will be evaluated by young people for young people.
