We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Officer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement WSCF’s editorial plan across projects and communication channels in collaboration with the Regional Secretary, the campaigns coordinator, and the graphic designer
- Create engaging, high-quality content tailored to diverse audiences on the topics of human rights and peace
- Manage and grow our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and improve outreach on LinkedIn
- Explore and expand the organisation’s presence on additional relevant social media platforms
- Identify, and support the implementation of, effective advocacy strategies
- Map and engage key stakeholders for institutional communication and visibility efforts
- Develop the communication plan for our Mozaik magazine, in collaboration with the editorial team (editor in chief, graphic designer, illustrator)
Requirements:
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in English
- Proven experience in content creation and social media management tailored to young people
- Strong writing, planning, and storytelling skills
- Strategic mindset with an eye for audience engagement and advocacy impact
- Ability to issue an invoice
- Alignment with Christian values and human rights advocacy is a plus
Location:
This is a remote position. You may be required to join our yearly event 26 October – 2 November 2025 – all expenses will be covered.
