We are seeking a dynamic and creative Communications Officer to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement WSCF’s editorial plan across projects and communication channels in collaboration with the Regional Secretary, the campaigns coordinator, and the graphic designer
  • Create engaging, high-quality content tailored to diverse audiences on the topics of human rights and peace
  • Manage and grow our social media presence on Facebook, Instagram, and improve outreach on LinkedIn
  • Explore and expand the organisation’s presence on additional relevant social media platforms
  • Identify, and support the implementation of, effective advocacy strategies
  • Map and engage key stakeholders for institutional communication and visibility efforts
  • Develop the communication plan for our Mozaik magazine, in collaboration with the editorial team (editor in chief, graphic designer, illustrator) 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in English
  • Proven experience in content creation and social media management tailored to young people
  • Strong writing, planning, and storytelling skills
  • Strategic mindset with an eye for audience engagement and advocacy impact
  • Ability to issue an invoice
  • Alignment with Christian values and human rights advocacy is a plus

Location:

This is a remote position. You may be required to join our yearly event 26 October – 2 November 2025 – all expenses will be covered.
