Appeal – Joint Statement to Denounce Violence against Students and Youth in Hong Kong by Police Personnel. Monitoring the protests in Hong Kong, which responded to China’s attempt to undermine the autonomy of the region, WSCF, WSCF Asia-Pacific and SCM Hong Kong released a joint statement denouncing the violence against students and young people. The statement included an appeal to political leaders to consider the demands of the protesters and start a political dialogue.
