We often hear that democracy is about what happens at the ballot box every few years. We disagree. We believe democracy is a daily practice, it’s about how we protect each other’s rights, how we speak up, and how we make sure nobody gets left behind.
This training is all about using Human Rights Education (HRE) and non violent communication (NVC) as tools to look at our world, spot the injustice, and start fixing it, by gaining skills.
- Know Your Power: Go deep into freedom of expression, equality, and the rule of law.
- Spot the Red Flags: Learn to recognise human rights violations and anti-democratic trends before they take root.
- Disrupt the Status Quo: Use activism, advocacy, and critical thinking to hold institutions accountable.
- Celebrate the Margins: In Italy, we’re focusing on the voices that usually get ignored : rural areas, minorities, and those on the “edges.”
