SUMMARY:Youth Training: “A Future and a Hope: Bridging Youth Resilience Across Borders"
DESCRIPTION:Dates: 8-12 September 2025 (Travel days 7 and 13 September)\nLocation: Ostello Villa Olanda – Luserna San Giovanni – Italy\nLanguage: English \nOpen to: Young people from Ukraine\, the Middle East\, Council of Europe member states\, and other conflict-affected regions \nParticipation fee: the participation fee is 50€ and includes accommodation and meals. Travel and visa costs will be reimbursed. The participation fee can be waived on request. \nApplication form for participants from the Middle East – deadline for applications 15 June 2025 \nApplication form for participants from Ukraine and Council of Europe – deadline for applications 7 July 2025 \nJoin us for a 5-day international youth training designed to empower young people affected by war and displacement\, especially those from Ukraine and other conflict zones. This training offers a safe and dynamic space for young participants to connect across borders\, share experiences\, and build practical skills for resilience\, social action\, and peacebuilding. \nBringing together youth from Ukraine\, the Middle East\, and across Europe (including regions impacted by conflict such as Armenia and Georgia)\, this training fosters dialogue\, collaboration\, and mutual support. Rooted in Christian values\, the programme also explores the role of faith\, spiritual resilience\, and community engagement in times of crisis. \nThis training will create a collaborative space for growth\, healing\, and shared action\, where every participant brings their voice and experience to the table. \nWhat to Expect \nThis training is built on the principles of human rights education and non-formal learning\, creating a participatory\, inclusive\, and dynamic environment. You’ll experience: \n\nInteractive\, learner-centered sessions that emphasise peer exchange\, group reflection\, and learning-by-doing\nGamified and experiential methods that make learning engaging\, practical\, and relevant to real-life challenges\nA strong focus on cross-regional solidarity\, connecting youth who have experienced the effects of war and displacement to share testimonies and resilience strategies\nFaith-based reflections and discussions on maintaining spiritual strength during crises\, with examples of grassroots peacebuilding initiatives such as social kitchens\, community aid\, reconstruction\, and interfaith efforts\nDaily moments of prayer and spiritual grounding\, welcoming diverse Christian and interfaith traditions\nNetworking opportunities for youth organisations to build future international collaborations\nAn intersectional approach that values diversity and addresses the unique experiences shaped by gender\, age\, ethnicity\, and ability\n\n  \nWhether you’re navigating the challenges of displacement or passionate about youth-led peace initiatives\, this training is your chance to grow\, connect\, and make a difference. \nRegister now to be part of this powerful journey toward healing\, action\, and hope. \nThe training is funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe under the Special Call for Ukraine \n
